About Us

Pivot Partnership supports women who have been displaced from the workforce. We created our non-traditional workforce development experience because we believe standardized training doesn’t serve unique needs. Our model promotes an individualized approach where each client has the power to select the skills and pathways that are most in alignment with her personal goals and professional interests.

Areas of emphasis

The program is powered by a unique blend of a flexible learning model, individualized career coaching, and workshops. We focus on building key technical and people skills while actively helping you identify and dismantle self-limiting patterns. This integrated, well-being-centered design is the blueprint for you to obtain meaningful employment and thrive.

Job Search

Targeted job search support equips clients with modern strategies to identify opportunities, leverage professional networks, and utilize online platforms effectively. This includes hands-on training that optimizes resumes and sharpens interview preparation.

Professionalism

We integrate professionalism directly into the curriculum, moving beyond basic office etiquette to focus on core competencies like effective communication, conflict resolution, and leadership presence.

Technology

Our program actively uses technology to provide relevant, in-demand technical training. Clients master essential software and digital tools while learning to effectively apply these skills to enhance productivity, network professionally, and confidently perform in a modern workplace.

Growth

Personal growth is fostered by empowering clients to cultivate resilience, build profound confidence, and break limiting patterns. This foundation of self-care and mental well-being ensures they define a thriving professional identity that lasts far beyond securing new employment.

Turning a Career Crisis into a Community Solution

What do you do when the system fails you? For Rhabia Cowell, our Founder and Executive Director a layoff wasn’t just a personal setback; it was a revelation.

As she navigated months of silence from employers, she experienced the unique exhaustion of the long-term job seeker. She saw that the tools available were surface-level, leaving the most vulnerable workers behind. She knew she had to pivot not just for herself, but for the thousands of women facing the same uphill battle.

Pivot Partnership was born from the intersection of professional expertise and personal resilience. We aren’t just teaching job skills; we are rebuilding the bridge to the workforce that our founder once found broken.

We know that finding work can be hard and that navigating workplace culture can be challenging, but with the right tools and preparation, you can be on your way to finding a fulfilling new role.
