Individualized Approach

This program is tailored to the client’s needs and interests. Pivot does not offer a cookie cutter method to job seeking.

Virtual Learning

Clients can choose from wide range of online lessons designed to be done at their own pace with no disruptions to other obligations.

Professional Development

Our emphasis on professional development provides the bridge between long-term unemployment and a new career, equipping women with the modern skills, confidence, and strategy needed to stand out in today’s competitive job market.

Community Partner FAQ's

You can refer a client to us by sending an email to info@pivotnyc.org.

Please write “REFERRAL” in the subject line.

The requirements are:

  • Women who are currently unemployed or underemployed.

  • Seeking long-term, sustainable careers.

  • Ready for active coaching and workshops.

  • Open to professional growth and feedback.

  • Access to a computer and internet.

The program is 6 weeks.

We typically work on a cohort model, however we also provide 1:1 assistance to job seekers when a cohort is not in session.

No, there is no charge to participate.

Programming is offered as a hybrid model. The classes and coaching is virtual. However, we also offer in person office hours and workshops.

We work with women from 18-55.

No, there are no geographic requirements.
